Having conducted 300+ one-on-one career coaching sessions, she has honed a personal methodology to support clients at various levels and throughout all career stages. From in-depth capabilities assessments through to behaviour-based interview practice, she champions a competitive approach to self-branding, marketing and networking using stand-out professional materials.
Prior to establishing Career Advantage, a consultancy offering professional career coaching to individuals, organizations and business teams, Catherine spent 10 years within McMaster University’s Human Resources Department. From an initial mandate of promoting employee wellness and engagement, she turned her focus to Career Development where she empowered faculty and staff at all levels with strategies to achieve their personal and professional potential. She is proud to have supported more than 10,000 employees in 10 different departments with career education and planning during her tenure at McMaster.
