As an HR leader, Rosanne has consistently excelled in identifying, anticipating, addressing, and resolving issues relating to people management. Leading and maintaining a large advanced manufacturing organization to Employer of Choice status year over year is testimony to her ability to contribute, impact and make a real difference in people’s work lives.
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Rosanne’s overarching mandate has been to provide direction and strategy regarding the design, development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, processes and infrastructure. As Manager of Employee Relations in a non-union environment, her focus was to champion progressive strategies, tactics and tools to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
A firm believer in giving back to her community, Rosanne has held several professional pro bono roles, including Past President of the Hamilton Chapter of HRPA; Past Chair of the HR Committee for the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce; member of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters’ HR Advisory Team; and member of the YWCA Trades Review Initiative promoting the attraction, retention and development of women in skilled trades. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for two local NFPs: Path Employment Services, striving to provide gainful employment for persons with disabilities, and Hamilton East Kiwanis Non-Profit Homes, building safe, sustainable housing communities.
